Getting more focused

Yesterday we talked about who are you marketing to. Now it is time to get a little more focused. If you have your daily routine down, and who you are marketing to, now how do you plan to send out your new splash pages?


When I am deciding where to post my splash page, I think about who uses the site I am advertising on. I would not use my splash page, to promote my paid to click site, on a children's cartoon page. Nor would I post my blog onto a site that is about music. 


You need to figure out the audience that uses the site that you want to advertise on, then gear your ad toward that audience.


Then, once you figure out the audience, and the ad you wish to place, then you need to figure out how big of an advertising campaign you need to see if that site will yield you any results.


There is no magic number, you need to figure this out on your own. Each person, or product is different, so you need to see what works for you.


Go out there, get your ads up! Stay focused.
